Generators

Generators are an alternative to canisters and represent a safer solution to traditional smoke detector testing. Electronic smoke generators such as the Solo 365 Replacement Smoke Generator are user-replaceable units that generate smoke for the purpose of testing smoke detector systems.

Smoke generators are a popular alternative to aerosol canisters in the testing industry, being non-pressurised and therefore safer to store and transport. They produce smoke on demand, meaning that they are suitable for performing a number of tests at each location with less waste and greater smoke detector compatibility.

At Detectortesters, we are pleased to supply a comprehensive range of Solo spare parts, thereby keeping your equipment available and calibrated at all times. The Solo 365 Replacement Smoke Generator is a recent addition to this range and will surely be particularly popular with mobile maintenance crews who are required to transport all of their equipment between jobs.

When used as part of a comprehensive Solo detector testing suite of equipment, these replacement smoke generators will reduce time and costs, minimise wastage, and increase productivity. They are simple to operate and provide an efficient detection mechanism for smoke particles, ensuring that a building's safety system is in full working order, protecting the lives of building occupants and safeguarding business operations.
