By achieving the ISO 14001 certification, our business has demonstrated its continued commitment and  the responsibilities taken in ensuring well-being for our employees and customers whilst meeting the increasingly high customer expectation of corporate responsibility and legal & regulatory requirements concerning the impact our business has on the environment.

As the urgency to address climate change intensifies, the pursuit of net-zero emissions has become a  critical global objective. ISO 14001 is an internationally recognised standard for environmental management systems (EMS); it provides a framework that that can significantly contribute to the journey toward net-zero by guiding worldwide organisations in reducing their environmental impact, improving sustainability practices, and driving continuous improvement.

The project has been led by our ESG Manager, Aliola Balla, who has worked with all departments across the business to achieve this milestone and integrate the requirements of ISO 14001 into our internal Quality Management System.

A substantial investment has been made to address the legal and regulatory obligations imposed by the standard and also to provide training and development of our teams - resulting in eight internal auditors who will now be responsible for monitoring and improving our Environmental Management System over the coming years in line with the certification surveillance program imposed by the standard.

Achieving ISO 14001 alongside our ISO 9001 demonstrates our commitment to producing the best products and possible, delivering a consistent service to all our interested parties as well as prove our desire to invest time and money into new technologies, staff, processes and procedures.
