The arrival of Testifire XTR2 has made for an exciting couple of months, with launch events taking place around the world at some of the fire industry’s most popular exhibitions.

Following the initial launch in London at Firex International, members of the DT team have since presented XTR2 at FeuerTrutz in Nuremberg, Germany and supported SDi colleagues at the NFPA Expo and Conference in Las Vegas. Over the course of these three shows, we’ve introduced XTR2 to over 400 people, gathered valuable feedback and setup multiple BETA trails. As a result, we’re now in a great position to push ahead and continue to build momentum ahead of product availability later this year.

During the shows we’ve met with a wide range of fire professionals including fire engineers, service managers and other senior figures responsible for fire safety. The overriding feedback has been extremely positive, engineers have been impressed with the features offered by the tester and the instant recording of results and service managers have welcomed the detail given within the reports and the support it gives them in dealing with requests from clients for proof of testing. In addition, the discussions we’ve had have also helped to identify ideas can explore for future features and functionality. ‌

As the exhibition calendar takes a break for Summer, there are still ways to learn more about Testifire XTR2.

Webinars

We’ve recently launched a new Testifire XTR2 webinar, the session takes you through use of the tester and the App and highlights the data within the report. Webinars are being run by the teams at Detectortesters and SDi with a range of dates available over the coming months. Check the links for details.
