This is caused by heating - possibly by the power to the charger being repeatedly disrupted e.g. in a vehicle with stop/start or on short journeys, or if the battery has been covered or exposed to additional heat when charging.

The battery cannot be repaired. Please stop use immediately and replace with a new battery.
