We are thrilled to share news of our latest awards success, with XTR2 winning the Excellence in Fire Safety Award at the recent Intersec Awards in Dubai.  

The Intersec Awards ceremony was a night to remember, filled with glamour and excitement. Taking place during the week of the industry leading Intersec Expo, the event recognises success stories within the fire industry - in terms of both products and services and fire professionals.  

Our Middle East Region BDM, Lasantha Mallawarachchi, represented the DT team on the night and had the honour of being called to the stage to as we were announced as winners!  The award is the latest of three awards XTR2 has received in the last twelve months, following on from recent wins at the FSM Awards in the UK and the FFMI Oscars in France. 

We're extremely proud to be recognised with this award, it serves as great recognition for everyone involved in bringing XTR2 to market and highlights the role Detectortesters are playing in driving change within the industry through the use of new technology.  Our aim is always to deliver users choice when it comes to functional testing by offering a range of solutions which help meet specific individual needs.  XTR2 is the latest offering we have to meet this objective, combining functional testing of smoke and heat detectors with the ability to capture live the test results of each detector tested, providing the ultimate proof of testing, and making it even easier to demonstrate compliance.
