Detectortesters commits to ESG Strategy

Posted in: News

As part of our commitment to measuring our impact on society and the environment, we have recently taken the first steps in developing our ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) strategy.

At the start of the year, Aliola Balla was appointed to the role of ESG Manager and since that time has made rapid progress in identifying the issues we need to focus on and brought members of the team together to understand the actions we need to take. As part of this, we have begun working with Rawstone Consulting, an ESG and sustainability consultancy who specialises in helping medium and large companies develop strategy, and support its implementation and reporting. To kick the process off, Caroline Johnstone and Paula Sullivan from Rawstone have held several internal workshops engaging with all DT members.

The workshops provided the opportunity to give our team an insight into ESG meaning, allowing Rawstone to propose a Materiality Study and suggest a Sustainability Strategy tailored around our business values.

With the materiality and ESG strategy now delivered from Rawstone, we will ensure that our company can measure, monitor and improve the impact our processes, people and activities play on the environment and community.
