How do I pair to the app?
Press any button on XTR PULSE (blue LEDs rotate). In DT Connect tap "Connect Device", select your device, then "Confirm". A triple blue flash indicates it's connected.
My phone won't reconnect. What's the quick fix?
On the phone, use Bluetooth settings to "Forget" the XTR PULSE. On the device, hold the Mode button for 30 seconds until all LEDs blink blue-red-blue (bond cleared). Wake the device and pair again in the app.
What do the LED colours mean?
- Rotating blue = searching for Bluetooth Connection; triple blue = connected.
- Pulsing blue / green / red = Smoke / CO / Heat test mode.
- Pulse blue + red = Smoke + Heat; blue + red + green = Smoke + Heat + CO.
- Triple flashing green / red = PASS / FAIL.
Does it auto-power down?
Yes. With no connection: after 60 seconds. With a connection but no activity: after 10 minutes.
What happens if Bluetooth drops during a job?
Results are cached on the XTR PULSE and syn to the app automatically when you reconnect, so your Test Log stays complete.
