Does XTR PULSE "test" the detector?
No. It's a test reporting device. Use your normal test tools to trigger the detector; XTR PULSE records Pass / Fail (Smoke, Heat, CO, or combinations) straight to your Test Log.
Which test types can I record?
Smoke, Heat, CO, Smoke+Heat, and Smoke+Heat+CO.
How do I change test mode?
Pulse-led workflow: press the Mode button on XTR PULSE (LEDs show the active mode). App-led workflow: pick the test type and result in DT Connect.
Is testing faster with DT Connect + XTR PULSE?
Yes - Pulse-led logging reduces taps and records results instantly; reconmmended when you want the speed of device-led logging.
