Controllers & Adaptors

In addition to the main test tools, we offer a range of adaptors and controllers to increase the capabilities of products across our range.  ASD adaptors are available for both Solo 365 and XTR2, these are simply fitted to tester head and place underneath a sampling hole on the pipe run; smoke is then generated and delivered into the pipe to initiate the test.

These adaptors can also be used to test modern detectors, such as flush detectors which are designed without the traditional chamber design. 

Our range of controllers help initiate testing when detectors is hard-to-access, there are three products here from our Scorpion range which are used to activate the installed Scorpion devices and initiate a smoke test.

A Testifire controller is available to initiate a test when the head unit cannot be placed directly over the detector.  Popular uses for this include sites where cages are placed over detectors to prevent damage or tampering; including schools, sports halls and prisons.
